The Collections

This is a site with a selection of pieces of art from the older collections of the county museum of Östergötland in Linköping Sweden.

The pieces of art are Dutch, Flemish, German, Italian, French, English or Swedish from the 16th, 17th and 18th centuries. For a few paintings the artist is unknown (Okänd).

Most paintings were donated in 1894-95 to the former museums in Linköping by two donators, art collector Carl Fredric Dahlgren and doctor, author of a cookery-book, Charles Emil Hagdahl.
